From Zingira, on foot or by car, after 1.1 km, we take the first road to the left that leads to Errota restaurant. If we go by car, we leave it there in the parking lot in front of the restaurant. From there on foot, we go along the track leaving the restaurant on our left.
From ERROTA to the MANTEROLA car park. 2.4 km
The track is easy until Kamio farmhouse. From Kamio the path is not always well signposted. You must always follow the river to where the map indicates ¨cruzar el riachuelo¨. Further on, you have to go down some steps made of wood on the ground.
After the descent, we arrive at the Manterola car park where we can connect with other routes.
This path described here will also be the connection to Zingira in other routes.
If we want to get to the Agorregi forge, we follow the SL-GI 4001 white/green path for 1 km, which we see on the left in Manterola as a paved track only for authorized cars and pedestrians.
NOTE: Look on the roads map, how to go to the Manterola car park by car.

After visiting the AGORREGI forge, the path takes us to Iturraran. There are 3 different routes to get there.
-Go up through the first door on the map, from here you will reach the Iturraran car park
-Take the first path to the right (without a gate) that passes through a viewpoint and ends at the park
information office.
-Go up the main route to the left (thicker line on the map) crossing the second door.
In this section the three routes have considerable slopes.
Once up in Iturraran, the trail passes through the parking area and behind the Interpretation, Information and Museum Office. Further on and halfway, the GR-35 white/red trail branches off towards Zarautz, which is 3.5 km away. From there, we go down to Manterola following only the White/Green indication.
From the Agorregi forge it is a beautiful 2.6 km walk, with a total of 3.5 km for the entire route.

As an alternative, leaving from inside Zingira, there is a little path that takes us to the top of Pagadi (beech forest) which 500 meters to the south connects with the previous path. If it has rained, the first 200 meters of both paths are quite muddy, complicating the slopes.
Following the White/Yellow trail, we come out onto a paved road. There, we continue to the right for 250m until we meet with the road that goes up to Aia. At this crossroads, at the mailboxes, we continue to the right and leave the road 150m further up following the marked white/yellow path to the right.
Shortly after we meet with the road to Aia again, but we continue straight on along the marked path. At the next crossroads, already among houses, we will take Aitzpea street to the right, which leaves us near the “Humilladero”.
In Aia from “humilladero”, we go up the road passing the “frontón” (pelota court), here go down to the right following the sign GR-35 white/Red, which leads directly to Agorrregi.
In AGORREGI, as an option. We can do the circuit that goes up to Iturraran or return along the path that joins the Manterola car park with Zingira to the West.

Without passing under the small bridge of the farmhouse where the mailboxes are, we climb a significant slope to the right between the houses. We will cross several doors that must be closed on our way. The path goes over the hill ascending about 140m in 1km.
In some sections there is no signage, but the place allows to find your way around.
From there, the path descends gently at first and quite steeply at the end, until it meets the GI-3710 road that connects Aia with Orio, where the train station is located. The final 200 meters are along the road area until the roundabout.
In the roundabout crossing the bridge in front of us, we arrive to Orio and its beach. And those who want to walk more can go to the upper part of Orio where there are other trails.
As an alternative:
- The banks of the river Oria, either to the right or to the left and both upstream and towards the sea, have magnificent walks.
- If you have time and will, you can go to Zarautz. To do this, at the roundabout before the bridge that leads to the town of Orio we continue to the left. You will find signs of the same path PR-GI 201 white/yellow that leads to Zarautz in a 5 km walk.

The beaches, coast towns and mountains that reach the sea (Jaizkibel among others) complete the 86 kilometers of the Gipuzkoan coast. This coast houses the Geopark of the Basque Coast, with geological structures as well known as the Flysch and the low tide between Deba and Zumaia.
The tourist possibilities offered by Guipúzcoa are not limited only to “sun and beach”. We have 17 clean, comfortable, easily accessible beaches, and most are in the center of town or very close to it. All this allows us to enjoy the Cantabric Sea in summer, and to walk along the beach with the sound of the waves in winter. The most known beaches are Zarautz and La Concha in Donostia, both very close to our campsite. But the traveler will find beaches of all kinds between Saturraran (in Mutriku) and Hondarribia.
The coastal towns in this area convey a special character and have a wide variety of tourist attractions. All of them -Mutriku, Deba, Zumaia, Getaria, Zarautz, Orio and Hondarribia- are worth a visit. The promenade and the beautiful old town of Hondarribia, the fishing spirit of Getaria and Mutriku, the beaches of Zumaia or the tourist tradition of Zarautz, to name a few examples.
But for those looking for green and mountains, we also have the Pagoeta and Aiako Harria natural parks nearby.
